On 15 May 2025, former presidents, former UN Secretaries-General and other senior figures who make up The Elders<\/strong> met non-partisan Diet members of The Japanese Parliamentary Committee for World Federation<\/strong> in the Special Room on Basement Level 1 of the First Members\u2019 Office Building of the House of Representatives. As many of you have said, we are living at a very important juncture for the international community, and I believe that solidarity is essential if we are to achieve international peace and a stable world order. In this respect, I consider the knowledge and experience of the United States to be indispensable, and Japan intends to play a key role in fostering such solidarity.
