The participants found that the New Agenda for Peace addressed new threats<br \/>\nto peace that did not exist 30 years ago when the first Agenda for Peace was published by<br \/>\nBoutros Boutros-Ghali 30 years ago. Yet, the New Agenda could have presented more in-<br \/>\ndepth \u201cwhat\u201d had to be done and \u201chow\u201d they could be implemented. They found the need<br \/>\nfor visionary as well as managerial leadership that is willing to take a risk and bring about<br \/>\nchange.
