Ambassador Illidio Ximenes da Cost of Timor-Leste attended the Kosovo Independence Day celebration on February 20, 2024. He suggested that a seminar be held to compare the peace and state-building experiences of the two countries, Kosovo and Timor-Leste. Both countries share a historical story of independence after armed conflicts. While there are many similarities, there are differences in their backgrounds.
